Boldt Castle
In 1900 George Boldt began building his wife the most jaw-dropping Valentine's Day gift ever given. Tragically neither would ever step foot in it. For the rest of THAT story you'll have to wait for the 🎥.

Central Terminal & Subway
The "tour" of the "safe" places inside Central Terminal train station in Buffalo was by far the worst I've been on. You are allowed a 50 foot walking radius and they've "rebuilt" the inside with foam recreations. I was also scolded for having a camera. "NO CAMERAS ALLOWED!" I prefer to not break any laws but...if I must! Out of the watchful eye of the "tour guide" we slipped through the back of the building and did our OWN tour. Allison and I had a brief day trip to Rochester

Silo City
Buffalo is the home of Cheerios and at one time the world's largest grain port. That's right. This city's claim to global fame has nothing to do with wings... On the outside of what is now dubbed "Silo City" is the magnificent smell of Lucky Charms and Honey Nut (depending on the hour). On the inside is the rancid smell of decades old grain that never got to market before Buffalo's industry ground to a stop.

The Church of Direct Mail Advertising
Sitting down to edit this one now, stay tuned on the Youtube! The visionary behind this masterpiece is also the inventor of direct mail advertising. A tad ironic considering the $30 million price tag to build this baby but...I digress.
